Sprucing up an Old Wooden Drawer

Morgan has a pretty cool corner desk that, in the past, she spruced up and painted yellow. Well, after the move and sitting around for a while, it has been put back into good service as her new vanity. But we can’t for the life of us figure out where the handle for the drawer is. When I finally figured out how to get the drawer out without the handle, I found out it needs a little more work than that. The side was separating from the base and the wood panelling on the back was coming off, much like before we restored my side table. So I peeled off the panelling and used wood glue to reattached everything that was coming off.

Then, we went out and found this nice handle from Walmart and attached it to the drawer.

Finally, Morgan laid down some of the extra chevron drawer liner that we used in the kitchen to cover this drawer.
